Joe and Ben sit down with Chris Ruckdaschel, Executive Director of the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce at Chamber office to discuss the life surrounding the Hayward area. This episode is a wide-ranging discussion. The guys touch on several topics, including Asset Based Community Development and the assets the area has, as well as it’s economic strengths and areas for improvement.
Joe and Ben think the entire area is an outdoor mecca and Chris joins in to share his thoughts on that opinion. They share thoughts on why they’ve all moved to the area over the last few years, why it’s an outdoor hub and gateway, and what could drive us into the future. Chris brings a well rounded perspective because he works with several different individuals, organizations, businesses, and events throughout the region on a daily basis.

CAMBA Country is the voice of the Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association (CAMBA). We’ll bring you the story, the people, and the community that has created, fostered, and maintain the Midwest’s premiere mountain biking destination. CAMBA Country is created and produced by us here at The Outdoor Route Productions.
The Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association off-road bike trail system consists of over 300 miles of marked and mapped routes through a near-wilderness area of striking beauty and peaceful solitude. Area cyclists have created the CAMBA trail system to make this vast, unique area available to everyone. We hope you enjoy the riding and join with us in preserving this resource.CAMBA embarked on its mission in 1993. Since that time CAMBA has developed a user-friendly network of over 300 miles of mapped and marked mountain bike trails effectively opening a vast region to use by the cycling public. The CAMBA system has been nationally recognized as a model of a well organized, user-friendly trail system and has received extensive regional and national publicity.
